These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Oe, a free online learning platform available at https://ontheinternet.in/oe. Oe is a project of Onnet and is owned and operated by Bikash Saha as an individual from Gauripur Ward No. 1/2, P.O. and P.S. Gauripur, District Dhubri, Assam 783331, India (“Oe”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account or using Oe, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Oe Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use Oe.

1. Eligibility and worldwide availability

Oe is available to eligible users worldwide. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. By registering or using Oe, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We may suspend or delete an account if we reasonably believe the user is under 18 or otherwise ineligible.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Oe is lawful in the country or region where you live. We may restrict availability in a location where required by law, security considerations, sanctions, technical limitations, or another legitimate reason.

2. Purpose and intended audience

Oe provides online eCourses and learning resources. Its primary audience includes freelancers, aspiring freelancers, people who want to work from home and earn online, and people who want to work while travelling. Oe remains open to any eligible person who wants to learn.

Oe currently provides learning opportunities only. It does not employ users, provide work, operate a job-placement service, or guarantee freelance assignments, customers, income, employment, business success, or any other outcome.

3. Free access and account requirement

Oe is currently free to use. A user must create and remain signed in to an Oe account to access account-based features and eCourse learning content. No subscription fee, purchase, or donation is required to create an account, use available eCourses, complete assessments, track progress, or receive an eligible certificate of completion.

We may add, update, replace, reorganise, or remove eCourses, resources, assessments, certificates, or features. We may also change or discontinue Oe. Free access does not guarantee that Oe, any feature, or any individual eCourse will remain available permanently. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

4. Account registration and security

You may register using email and password or Google Sign-In. You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. Each account is personal to one user and may not be shared, transferred, sold, rented, or made available to another person.

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly at oe@ontheinternet.in if you suspect unauthorised access. We may request reasonable information to verify identity, protect an account, or address misuse.

5. Optional donations

A voluntary Donate option may be available inside the Oe User Account. A donation is optional and is not a fee for access, a subscription, an investment, a purchase of an eCourse, or a promise of additional services or preferential treatment.

A user may choose the available donation amount and submit the transaction or UTR/reference details requested for verification. Oe may display the donation status in the User Account and may send an acknowledgement or thank-you message after verification.

Donations are generally non-refundable once received, except where required by applicable law or where Oe decides to correct a duplicate, erroneous, or unauthorised transaction. Failed or pending transactions should also be raised with the relevant bank, UPI application, or payment provider. Oe is not responsible for third-party payment delays or failures outside its reasonable control.

6. Educational content, assessments, and certificates

Oe may provide eCourses, downloadable learning resources, assessments, progress tracking, projects, and certificates of completion. Course information is provided for general educational purposes and may not be complete, current, or suitable for every individual situation.

Certificates confirm completion within Oe. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they are independently issued certificates of completion—not academic degrees, diplomas, government-recognised qualifications, professional licences, or guarantees of employment or income.

Information about freelancing, jobs, income, careers, entrepreneurship, or business is educational and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, investment, employment, or other professional advice. Users remain responsible for their decisions and should obtain qualified advice where appropriate.

7. Licence and intellectual property

Oe and its eCourse materials, branding, text, graphics, videos, downloads, software, and other content are owned by or licensed to Oe and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, Oe grants each user a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Platform for personal learning.

Where a download is provided, you may download and print it for your own personal learning. You may not copy, reproduce, record, scrape, republish, upload, distribute, sell, sublicense, commercially exploit, or create substantially similar course materials from protected Oe content without prior written permission.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• share, sell, transfer, or rent your account or access credentials;
• provide false, misleading, or impersonated registration or donation information;
• bypass or attempt to bypass account, course, assessment, or security controls;
• copy, scrape, systematically download, or republish Oe content;
• upload malware or attempt to disrupt, probe, overload, reverse-engineer, or compromise Oe;
• harass, threaten, abuse, or harm another person; or
• use Oe for fraud, infringement, or any unlawful purpose.

9. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account for a material or repeated violation of these Terms, false information, suspected misuse, a security risk, harmful conduct, or a legal or regulatory requirement. Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond or correct the issue.

You may use the account-deletion feature or contact oe@ontheinternet.in. Deletion ends access to the account and may permanently remove learning progress, assessment history, certificates, and other Oe data. Certain limited records may be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, donation accounting, or legal claims, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

10. Third-party services and links

Oe relies on services such as Google Sign-In, WordPress and plugins, hosting and infrastructure, email-delivery services, banks or UPI applications, analytics where implemented, backups, and security or spam-prevention services. Their separate terms and privacy policies may apply. Oe is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control or for external websites linked from eCourse materials.

11. Availability and disclaimers

Oe is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim to keep it secure and usable, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service. Maintenance, updates, connectivity failures, cyber incidents, third-party outages, or events beyond reasonable control may interrupt access.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Oe disclaims implied warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory rights, remedies, warranties, or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Oe, Onnet, and Bikash Saha will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of Oe, reliance on educational content, third-party services, or temporary or permanent loss of access. This does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to restrict.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in Oe, law, security, providers, or operating practices. The revised Terms will show a new updated date. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through Oe, the registered email address, or both. Where applicable law requires fresh consent, we will request it before the relevant change takes effect.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, local laws, or jurisdiction that applies to a user, courts having jurisdiction over Gauripur, District Dhubri, Assam, India will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to Oe. Before starting formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact oe@ontheinternet.in so that we can try to resolve the concern.
